1. Data controller
The controller of personal data is Asociația Renew Carpathia, registered office at Str. Principală nr. 202, sat Sânnicolau Român, com. Sânnicolau Român, jud. Bihor, Romania, fiscal code (CUI) 44175136. For any request regarding your data, write to contact@renewcarpathia.ro.
2. What data we collect and how
Contact form: when you send a message, the form opens your e-mail app pre-filled with the details you enter (name, e-mail address, message). The message reaches us by e-mail; the site does not store this data on its own server.
Technical data: the site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. The provider may process technical data (e.g. IP address, browser type) in logs, for security and the proper functioning of the site.
3. Cookies and local storage
We use only strictly necessary storage: we keep your cookie preference in your browser (localStorage) so we do not show the banner every time.
We currently do not use analytics or marketing cookies. If we introduce such tools, we will ask for your consent in advance, which you can withdraw at any time from "Cookie settings" (in the page footer).
4. Legal basis
We process data based on your consent (when you write to us) and our legitimate interest in ensuring the operation and security of the site, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
5. How long we keep data
We keep e-mail correspondence for as long as necessary to respond to you and manage our relationship, then delete or archive it according to our internal practices.
6. Who we share data with
We do not sell or rent your data. We may process it through service providers acting as processors: Cloudflare (hosting) and Google Workspace (e-mail). They process data according to their own policies and processing agreements.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability, as well as the right to withdraw your consent. You can exercise them by writing to contact@renewcarpathia.ro. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian Data Protection Authority (ANSPDCP, dataprotection.ro).
